In one paragraph
The verdict
VivioMD is a GLP-1 telehealth service run with a national medical group, offering brand-name and compounded options after a short online assessment. Several of its promises are good ones: a live consult with a provider in every plan, round-the-clock messaging, a full refund if you are not approved, and pricing that it says never rises as your dose increases. The problem is that it never tells you what that flat price is. No figure appears anywhere on the site, and the compounded product is called only GLP-1, without naming the drug. The terms do name the compounding pharmacy, and they say the service covers every state except Louisiana. Read the billing rules before committing. Plans are billed in advance and renew automatically, a promotional discount tied to a minimum term is clawed back if you leave early, and monthly plans get no refund for the month you cancel in. A flat price also means a small dose costs what a full one does.
Microdosing is off-label and unproven — decide with a clinician. Prices are as published by the provider when we last checked; confirm current terms before you buy.
Who it suits, and who it does not
A good fit if
- You want a live provider consult included in the plan
- You expect to titrate up and want the price to stay fixed
- You want the compounding pharmacy named
Look elsewhere if
- You want a price before you sign up
- You live in Louisiana
- You might cancel early from a discounted commitment

- Standard plan, self-directed low dose
No low-dose product of its own. Starting low means asking for a smaller amount inside a standard plan, at the standard plan's price.
235 of the 548 programs here price a small dose this way. It promises flat pricing at every dose and prints no figure, and the compounded product is never tied to a named drug. No low-dose product exists, so a smaller dose would be a request inside a standard plan.

FDA warning letter
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning letter to VivioMD in June 2026. It is addressed to VivioMD Group LLC dba VivioMD — search that name, not ours, to find it. We are not summarizing what it says — read it at the source. This does not change how VivioMD is listed here or whether we are paid for a click to it, and we would rather you knew both of those things at once.
How the program works
VivioMD is a telehealth service for GLP-1 weight-loss care, offering brand-name and compounded options after a five-minute online assessment. Clinical care comes from OpenLoop Healthcare Partners and its affiliated medical groups, with a live provider consult included in every plan and 24/7 messaging. The terms name one dispensing pharmacy, RedRock Pharmacy, for compounded medication, and say services cover 49 states, every state but Louisiana. The homepage promises flat pricing at every dose but shows no figure, and the compounded product is called simply GLP-1. Plans are billed in advance for the term you choose and renew automatically. A discount tied to a minimum commitment is forfeited if you cancel early. Monthly plans get no refund for the month you cancel in; longer plans refund months for which no medication shipped. Nothing on the site describes a low dose.
The honest cons
No price is published anywhere on the site
- The compounded product is never tied to a named drug
- A promotional discount is forfeited, and past months repriced, if you cancel before the commitment ends
- Cancellation needs 72 hours' notice before the billing date
- Not available in Louisiana
- Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved, and intentional microdosing is off-label and unproven

Intentional GLP-1 microdosing is off-label and unproven — no randomized trial has established that a sub-label dose does anything, and any dose belongs with a clinician who knows your history. If you are going to have that conversation, have it with real numbers.
