In one paragraph

The verdict

Tonik shows more of its pricing than most: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide each have a monthly, a quarterly and a yearly price, with the billed total next to the monthly figure, and each plan includes the medication, supplies, provider oversight and a dedicated concierge. You start with a free consult, then an intake and lab work, and a provider reviews your results with you before prescribing, which is more care than a questionnaire-only service. The problem is the word month-to-month. The weight-loss page uses it for the monthly plan, while the cancellation policy says every subscription medication carries a three-month minimum, and that any refill already sent to the pharmacy is billed even if you cancel. Charges are non-refundable once processed. No dose is published and there is no low-dose product, so a smaller dose would be a request inside the same plan at the same price.

What it does well

  • Every plan length is priced for both molecules, with the billed total beside each monthly figure
  • Medication, supplies, provider oversight and concierge support are inside the plan price
  • Lab work is part of starting, so a provider reviews your results before prescribing
  • A free consultation is offered before you commit

How the program works

Tonik is a telehealth clinic for hormones, weight loss and longevity, with a dedicated concierge assigned after a free consultation. For weight loss it sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide on monthly, quarterly or yearly plans, each with its price printed. The first steps are an intake form and lab work, then a call with a Tonik provider to review the results; independent pharmacies ship the medication. The weight-loss page calls its monthly plan month-to-month access, but the cancellation policy says all subscription medications carry a three-month minimum. Nothing on the site describes a low-dose product, and no dose is published.

The honest cons

The monthly plan is called month-to-month access, yet the cancellation policy sets a three-month minimum on every subscription medication
  • Consultation fees and subscription charges are non-refundable once processed, with no partial-month refunds
  • A refill already sent to the pharmacy is billed even if you cancel
  • No milligram is published, and no low-dose product exists
  • The pharmacy is not named, and the states served are not listed
  • Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved, and intentional microdosing is off-label and unproven

Intentional GLP-1 microdosing is off-label and unproven — no randomized trial has established that a sub-label dose does anything, and any dose belongs with a clinician who knows your history. If you are going to have that conversation, have it with real numbers.
