Velvet Rx puts "Same price for every dose" in its own plan bullets, so you are not left guessing — and if you expect to titrate upward, that is the reassuring version of the answer. What it is not plain about is which figures you can actually buy. Every low number on the site is either a first month or a long prepay billed in one lump: the cheapest injectable semaglutide figure is half a year paid at once, and the tirzepatide headline is a first month that then recurs about two-fifths higher. Those prepay plans renew themselves. Credit where it is due: it publishes the whole ladder with totals, discloses that its testimonials are paid, and says outright that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and that stopping usually means regaining. Ignore the urgency badges — the countdown and the spots-left figure never move.

Velvet Rx does not publicly identify the pharmacy that fills its prescriptions. No bloodwork is required before you start. A clinician review is included in the price.

Velvet Rx sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as weekly injections and as orals, on month-to-month, three-, six- and twelve-month plans. Its plan bullets state "Same price for every dose" for both injectables, and it publishes each prepay rung as a total rather than only as a per-month figure. What the marketing pages advertise is never the month-to-month rate, though: every low number is either a first month or a prepaid stretch billed in one charge that then renews itself. No dispensing pharmacy is named — the site says only that medication ships from licensed US pharmacies.

SAME PRICE FOR EVERY DOSE. A patient holding at 0.25 mg pays what a top-of-range patient pays, and the difference is medicine bought and never used. Velvet is candid about the structure, and candor does not change the arithmetic

• THE ADVERTISED $179 TIRZEPATIDE IS A FIRST MONTH. The standing rate is $249, 39% higher, and the subtext beside it says so only once you reach the plan
• EVERY "AS LOW AS" FIGURE IS A PREPAY RUNG. The $139 injectable semaglutide rate is six months at $834 billed at once; month-to-month is $159. The $189 oral rate is $1,134 up front; month-to-month is $249
• Prepay plans are charged in full up front and still auto-renew, so a six-month plan you forget about becomes another six months at once
• The urgency is fixed rather than real: the tirzepatide monthly plan carries "Only 13 Spots Left at This Price" and the six-month oral rungs "offer ends in 2 days" and "Over 277 users chose this option today" — none of which ever changes
• A pricing subtext ships with a doubled dollar sign, reading "$$70 off first month only"
• All four "Members victory stories" are attributed to the same person, "Susan G., San Antonio, TX, 24", and describe skin glow and fine lines rather than weight — one of them is about a copper peptide Velvet does not sell
• No compounding pharmacy is named, no state list is published, and no LegitScript ID is displayed
• Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved, and intentional microdosing is off-label and unproven
